Believe and Be-LoveWritten by Rob Rauffer on May 12, 2013 in - No Comments
One Sabbath morning I reflected on the transformative power of Sabbath and its relationship to the rest of time:
Scent of Sabbath fills the air sweet, fragrant, clean.
As the moments of the day move by there is osmosis of presence.
It moves from the point of greatest concentration
to that of lesser concentration so that it is
barely distinguishable from ordinary scents
stress, sweat, food, life.
Is the heavenly scent diminished or merely mixed with earth making sacred the ordinary?
